I came to Dr. La’s office in 2021 out of complete necessity having major dental issues. Little did I know at that time that she along with her amazing staff would all become my extended family over the next year and a half. I was suffering not only from lack of dental care but also PTSD and basically could not handle being in a dental chair. Dr. La listened to my needs and developed a plan to help accommodate my special needs. Now 1.5 years later I can once again smile with my teeth showing. I highly recommend this family practice to anyone and any age. You too will feel like family with Dr. La!

Felt like my painful problem was addressed very promptly for being a first time patient as several other dental facilities were telling me a week or so wait. Normally a wait of several days or weeks is understandable but when you have an emergency ( broken tooth with exposed nerve ) you would think someone would be willing to help you. Our family dentist of many years retired about 6 months ago so we have been looking for a new one. The entire staff at Dahlgren Dental were very amiable and made me feel they were very concerned with my present situation and that was very reassuring. Needless to say we have now found a new family one stop dental center.

My new appointment was with a new-to-me hygienist, Jessica, who was professional, efficient and personable. The actual dentist, who was busy, still took time to answer all of my questions. My dentist, Dr. La, is well-versed in her knowledge, very thorough, and very concerned about her patients. After completing the dental evaluation, she is willing to not only explain any concerns a patient might have, but she is able to provide excellent recommendations on why an additional procedure might be needed. My dental hygienist, Monica, was great to work with. She has multiple years of experience, a great bedside manner when working with a patient, and demonstrated a strong knowledge of what is involved with dental hygiene. Shelley, Kim, and Lisa are not only very personable, but they go out of their way to assist you when you’re coming into the practice for dental services. As a longtime patient of Dr. Donahue, I was anxious to hear that he was retiring, and I did not look forward to the prospect of finding a new dentist. For 20 years, my family has trusted the great folks at Dahlgren Dental. However, after meeting Dr. La and having my first experience in her chair, I was worried about nothing. She is very friendly and efficient. Everyone from the front office to the assistants to the dentists is amazing! It’s very hard for me to find a kind dental practice, and I can’t believe I found a keeper right here in King George. From every phone call with Lisa to appointments where Briley is doing her utmost to make everything go smoothly, you could drive farther, but you wouldn’t find better.

Not only was this our first visit to Dahlgren Dental, but this was my toddler’s first visit to the dentist, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say!
